Active Killer Response

This is a unique collaboration class with a good friend and long time LE/SWAT officer friend of mine. Day 1 will be a High Performance Rifle & Handgun class centered on solid shooting mechanics, aggressive short movement skills, and high level gun-handling that will demand extremely high levels of speed, accuracy and aggression; all the hard skill components necessary to operate successfully in fast, chaotic, dangerous environments where the Patrol Officer and SWAT Officer alike will be expected to perform at peak level in response to an Active Killer.

Day 2

*Marksmanship Fundamentals
*A Solid Rifle Mount and Handgun Grip

*Target Transitions

*Short, Fast Movements

*Red Dot/Irons Confirmation Levels

*Acquiring and Tracking the Dot Under Recoil

*Reactive and Predictive Shooting

*Gun Handling in Tight Confines


Standard Equipment Requirements:

Your Weapon/Sling/Holster/Associated Equipment
*Minimum of 4 Magazines
*Ear and Eye Protection
*Ammunition-400 rounds Rifle, 400 rounds Pistol

Compensators: If you use a large and disruptive compensator or muzzle break, you may be asked to use another rifle or to excuse yourself. I will typically have a spare rifle at classes.

Prerequisites:

*A rifle/handgun Zeroed and in Working Condition

*An Established Understanding of Weapons Handling
